EXCLUSIVE | OTR x Naked & Famous Kimono Capsule Series 2015
Over the Rainbow is pleased to announce its second 40th Anniversary Collaboration Series project, this time with long time brand partner Naked & Famous Denim. The two brands put their heads together and came up with a 4-piece men’s capsule line based on a rare Japanese “Kimono” fabric. They chose an indigo coloured flower print that would be woven through each piece of the capsule. The four items selected included a jean, a denim jacket and a pocket tee (in two colours).
For the jean & jacket, Naked & Famous Denim used a 13 oz. “fuzzy” Japanese denim fabric with a blue selvedge which are both exclusive to this collection. The Kimono flower fabric, also sourced from Japan, can be found on the inside of both denim products and the coin pocket lining of the jean along with a custom leather co-branded patch. The pocket tee is a first for Naked & Famous Denim and uses our chosen Kimono fabric for the pocket design. The Kimono Capsule Series was produced locally in Montreal and only 80 total units were produced for the entire collection.
